The Report of the Lord Mayor’s Commission on Antisocial Behaviour

The Report of the Lord Mayor’s Commission on antisocial behaviour was officially launched in the Mansion House, Dublin, on Tuesday 12th of June 2012.

Misuse of alcohol and other drugs plays a significant role in antisocial behaviour.

Each chapter of the report is dedicated to a theme: (1) Early Intervention and Prevention; (2) Education; (3) Discrimination and Prejudice; (4) Management of Offenders and Alternatives to Prison; (5) Alcohol and Other Drugs; (6) City Centre Issues; (7) Design; (8) Organisational and Governance Structures. Each chapter contains a list of recommendations.

The report contains a number of recommendations for each theme. To further explore the recommendations contained within the Alcohol and Drugs chapter, we spoke with the Lord Mayor directly after the launch.
