A new street drug which is now selling in Ireland for just €2 is as potent as methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) and mephedrone agents, a leading drugs expert has warned.
The blue tablet, which has Chinese writing on one side and the number “10” on the other, resembles a 10mg diazepam tablet in appearance and is extremely potent, consultant psychiatrist and psychotherapist Dr Seán Ó Domhnaill said.
“The drug has presented at a service in suggest it is already on the circuit between Dublin and Galway,” Dr Ó Domhnaill revealed.
