Minister comments on the Drug Task Forces review.

Róisín Shortall, T.D., Minister of State with responsibility for the National Drugs Strategy gave an opening address at the launch of the Dial to Stop Drug Dealing/Crimestoppers campaign in Donore Youth and Community Centre. Donore Avenue, Dublin 8 on Tuesday morning.

Responding to comments relating to the current review of the operation of the Drug Task Forces, Minister Shortall stated that the review was "not a cost cutting exercise". Minister Shortall reiterated her personal commitment to the drug task forces by saying "it is the right response to drug problems at local level".
