UCD & Merchants Quay Counselling course expanded to Cork

Tackling the growing problem of drug use in Cork, a training programme in narcotics counselling and intervention skills will continue this September.

University College Dublin in partnership with Merchants Quay Ireland will offer the Certificate in Drugs Counselling Theory and Intervention course, which is aimed at those currently working in drug services, community development projects and other social and healthcare services.

The one-year part-time course aims to equip participants with the skills needed to tackle the growing problems of drug use in Cork and across the southern region.
