Time to draw a line under cocaine and end the hypocrisy

If lines were being passed around I did not want to be the odd one out.

I have done cocaine in the past with some of the people who are now feigning shock at Gerry Ryan's addiction.

I have witnessed so many people do cocaine on their weekend nights out and not lose their jobs or marriages or fortunes or lives to it, and carry on their normal lives during the week.

Sure they are taking a risk when they do a line of coke, just as they are damaging their livers irreparably by pouring endless vodka shots down their throats and smoking their lungs into long painful deaths. I know this as my father died from alcohol- related liver and heart problems and my mother died of lung cancer because she smoked for most of her life.
