Roscrea had a very successful Drugs' Awareness Day on Saturday last with over thirty people taking part in the certified one day programme which was professionally presented by the Dublin based 'Community Awareness of Drugs' (CAD).
All participants were most satisfied that the programme succeeded in increasing their awareness. Increased awareness thus allowed those in attendance to empower themselves in dealing with drugs related issues or in supporting family members, who may be experiencing difficulties, or those in such circumstances, within the community.
