Political support for Youth Cafe

Town councillors in Mullingar have thrown their weight behind proposals for the opening of a “youth café” in Mullingar, at their monthly meeting in Market House last week.

Cllr. Gerry Sheridan (Labour) led tributes to Comhairle na nÓg, the Mullingar EYE Project and the Midland Regional Youth Services, and called on Westmeath County Development Board to investigate the feasibility of setting up such a facility for young people.
