MLRC: Looking For Volunteers Befrienders

 

Have you got a little time to spare each week?
Are you looking for an opportunity to do something worthwhile for homeless people or those who are at risk of becoming homeless.
Mercy Law Resource Centre, a free, independent Law Centre for Homeless people or those who are at risk of becoming homeless, is looking for Volunteer Befrienders.
The Centre offers a friendly, quality and holistic service to our clients. A Befriending service is provided to accompany vulnerable clients and provide them with emotional support as they go through the difficult process of trying to assert their rights.
 
Who we are
Mercy Law Resource Centre is an independent law centre which provides a free, quality and holistic legal service to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This includes people who are trying to move away from homelessness or are struggling with issues often linked to homelessness  e.g addiction, leaving prison, mental illness, prostitution.
MLRC  is a charitable organization set up by the Sisters of Mercy and it is non-profit making.
