Ireland’s first alcohol-free nightclub to open Saturday

DanceWave, Ireland’s first ever alcohol-free nightclub, will open this Saturday in Dublin’s Temple Bar.

The alternative weekend club is designed for those who like to party without booze. Fruit juices, teas, coffees and food will all be on offer at The Green Temple at 1a Temple Lane.

Organisers said they hope the club will fill a major gap in the social scene in the city.

“People have one choice at the weekends and its drink and more drink. It’s time to shift this,” said Peter O’Brien.
