As a result of an adverse clinical incident a sample of Tea, labelled “Mate De Coca Coca Tea”, has been analysed by the Forensic Science Laboratory and found to contain cocaine. Cocaine is a dangerous substance which has harmful effects on the central nervous and cardiovascular systems in particular. The public is advised not to consume this product, either on its own or in combination with other psychoactive substances, including alcohol.
