Head shop owner unrepentant over sale of drugs

In an exclusive interview with the New Ross Echo, the owner of the Tinkicker head shop has said he is unrepentant about selling the drugs which mimic the effects of illegal highs.

New Ross man Stephen Murphy owned three Tinkicker head shops in Waterford, Enniscorthy and New Ross. Of the three, New Ross was the busiest by far.

Mr. Murphy closed the Wexford shops earlier in the year and shut the Waterford shop on Monday following the introduction of hard-line government legislation banning the sale of psychoactive drugs.
