‘Alcohol warnings won’t tackle abuse’

The majority of people do not believe that Health Minister James Reilly's plan to introduce health warnings on alcoholic drink bottles and cans will help combat alcohol abuse, according to our latest poll.

Dr Reilly recently announced that he is developing legislative proposals to provide for the inclusion of health advice and warnings on the dangers of alcohol misuse on bottles and cans and on promotional materials.
