Concern for teenagers after Sligo party

About 30 people between 13 and 16 years of age were at the party, at which it is believed substances purchased in a head shop were consumed.

Two 15-year-old boys were taken to Sligo General Hospital following the party in the woods in the Hazelwood area of the town. They have since been released.

Gardaí say there are no reports of anyone else being affected.

They are also urging parents to warn their children against purchasing substances from head shops and against taking substances which are marked 'not for human consumption'.
