QuADS Peer Review
Peer review is a relatively new mode of promoting and supporting organisational and sectoral development. It has been used within therapeutic communities across Europe and also within the educational and medical sector. Peer review generally involves one organisation from within a network auditing and evaluating the work of another organisation against a standardised framework. The organisation under review receives a report that assists then to develop better and more robust systems.
Drugs.ie houses a comprehensive policy library containing more than 75 template policies for drug and alcohol services. These policies have been developed by the Ana Liffey Drug Project. Polices have had editorial input from industry leaders from the health and commercial sectors and have been extensively researched. We advise that these policies are adapted to the needs of each organisation through an internal consultation processes.
