Launch of Recovery Academy Ireland in Cork and Kerry

The Recovery Academy of Ireland launch in the Cork/Kerry region later today.

To mark this collaboration, the ‘Faces of Recovery’ exhibition will be on display for the gerneral public in the Atrium of Cork City Council from October 7th until October 11th.

The Faces of Recovery campaign is a  collaboration between Recovery Academy Ireland  and Public Health Primary Care, Trinity College Dublin. The campaign brings together 9 faces (photographs) of prominent Irish people who are openly in recovery. With a short video from each ‘face’ (words of wisdom for younger self in recovery).The ‘faces’ are: Actors, Authors, Journalists, Sportspersons and Politicians. The main aim of the campaign is to reduce stigma and promote recovery.


•Launch event: Monday Oct 7th
Time: 5pm – 6.30pm
•Venue:  Atrium Cork City Council 

Food & Refreshments will be provided
