EMCDDA launch Mini-European Web Survey on Drugs to see the impact of COVID19 on drug patterns

Mini-European Web Survey on Drugs (EWSD): Impact of COVID-19 on patterns of drug use, harms and drug services in the European Union

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 across Europe and subsequent national responses to contain and mitigate the epidemic (self-isolation, quarantine, confinement, lockdowns), information has emerged about unprecedented challenges for services providing care to people who use drugs in the community and in prisons. Anecdotal information also indicates that there may have be changes in drug use patterns and in how people are obtaining their drugs.

Having a better understanding of use during this time in Ireland can help us inform and improve our work as we progress through the pandemic.

Please take the time and share your experiences to help us reduce the harms.
