Cocaine use increases in the north west

Speaking at a Joint Policing Committee meeting held on Friday in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo, Aidan Glacken says there should not be a social acceptability when it comes to taking drugs.

Over €400,000 worth of drugs were sized  and there was 16 detections for the sale of drugs in the region since the start of the year.

Chief Super Intendent Glacken says people who take drugs are fuelling criminality.
