Needle Exchange Provision in Ireland

This document emerged out of concerns from the Voluntary Drug Sector about the need for additional needle exchange services to match the increases in injecting drug use nationally. A working group was established to review the current position in relation to needle exchange provision in Ireland and assess how the relevant NDS recommendations should be progressed as we enter the last year of the National Drug Strategy.
