Curran Announces Projects Dedicated to Tackling Drugs in Limerick City

Today's announcement is part of an overall capital and current funding package of €1.3m. approved earlier this year. Today's 8 projects, totalling nearly €0.900m, were identified by a dedicated sub-group of the Mid-West Regional Drugs Task Force. They cover the areas of treatment, rehabilitation, family support, prevention and education and outreach to vulnerable drug misusers in some of the most disadvantaged parts of Limerick City. Capital investment proposals are currently being developed by the sub-group.
